VietJet to order 50 additional A321neo


Farnborough - Just after signing for 80 737 MAX,Vietnamese carrier Vietjet has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Airbus for an additional 50 A321neo

The deal was announced at the Farnborough Air Show today on July 19, by Vietjet Vice President Dinh Viet Phuong and Eric Schulz, Airbus Chief Commercial Officer.

With this order, the Vietnamese carrier’s backlog for the A320 Family reached to 129 aircraft, including 123 A321neo and 6 A321ceo.

Vietjet continues to grow aggressively to meet increasing demand on both its domestic and international networks.

To date, the A320 Family has received more than 14,200 orders, and over 7,800 members of the family are currently in service with 330 operators worldwide.
