Tehran, Iran - A video posted on a social media account shows the last seconds of the Flight PS757 from Ukrainian International Airlines (UIA).
The video was reportedly taken from a moving car. It shows a falling fireball for almost a minute. The explosion can then be seen when the aircraft hit the ground.
The video was published via BBC's Iran reporter Ali Hashem. On Jan 9, some images were also emerged showing the moment that the plane was hit by something.
Both black boxes were already recovered from the crash area. According to the Iranian civil aviation authority, it can take months to analyze the flight data.
Iranian officials assume a technical cause for the crash. The US, the Canadain, and Dutch intelligence services claim that the plane was hit by an anti-aircraft missile.
Ali Abedzadeh, the head of the Iranian civil aviation authority, points out the debris of Malaysian flight MH17, which was shot down over Eastern Ukraine in 2014, was scattered in a larger area compared with the Flight PS752.
It seems doubtful whether this comparison is legitimate. The Boeing 777 from Malaysia Airlines was flying at a higher altitude with higher speed when it was shot by a rebel missile in Ukraine.
