Ekaterinburg, Russia - Scheduled and chartered flight operator Russian Ural Airlines has welcomed its first Airbus A320neo.
The A320neo registered VP-BRX (MSN 9136) was ferried from Airbus's delivery center in Toulouse to Ekaterinburg on August 7, 2019.
The aircraft is leased from Hong Kong-based CDB Aviation. Ural Airlines expects to take delivery of two more Airbus A320neo and A321neo by the end of this year.
From August 15, the Russian operator will deploy its first A320neo on routes from Moscow Domodedovo to Blagoveshchensk (daily), Kaliningrad (4x weekly), and St. Petersburg (2x weekly).
Alongside the A320neo, Ural Airlines' fleet consists of five A319-100, 24 A320-200, and 16 A321-200
