Moscow - The Russian aircraft manufacturer Sukhoi has won a new order for its Superjet. Kom Airlines, a regional airline operator from Thailand, has signed a letter of intent for six SSJ100 to be delivered in 2019 and 2020.

The agreement was signed during the working visit of Denis Manturov, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, to the Kingdom of Thailand.

Kom Airlines is not the first Thai customer for the Superjet. The air force of the country already operates a number of units for the transport of high-ranking soldiers, politicians, and the members of the royal family.

The Superjets of Kom Airlines will be configured to accommodate a hundred passengers in a single-class layout and will serve both on domestic and international routes of the carrier. The deal should be finalized in early 2019 according to the local press.
