Madrid, Spain - Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas took delivery of its first Airbus A340-600 registered EC-NFP (MSN 933).
The 11-year-old quadjet was previously operated by Gulf carrier Etihad Airways. The aircraft was ferried to its new home Madrid Barajas Airport from Teruel on November 20.
It is the first of three Airbus A340-600 to join the Spanish operator's fleet. All of them were leased from the European Aviation.Plus Ultra currently operates four Airbus A340-300.
Plus Ultra Líneas Aeréas S.A. is a Spanish long-haul operator based at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport. The airline was founded in 2011 and commenced operations in 2015.
