Istanbul - The Turkish low-cost operator Onur Air will take over one of the two Airbus A321neo from the bankrupt WOW Air.
The aircraft, which is configured to accommodate 220 passengers, will join the Onur Air's fleet this summer.
The Airbus A321neo which was registered as TF-SKY with the Icelandic carrier now becomes the newest aircraft type in the fleet of Onur Air.
WOW air was the first airline to operate the Airbus A321neo in Europe. The company had taken delivery of its first A321neo at the Paris Airshow in 2017. The aircraft had been leased from the American leasing company Air Lease Corporation.
The Turkish budget carrier currently operates eight Airbus A320, seven Airbus A321, and ten Airbus A330, many of which were built in the 1990s.
