Toulouse - On December 27, Asiana Airlines took possession of the fourth of twelve Airbus A350-900 ordered, which will be deployed between Seoul and London.
The 76th A350-900 this year was delivered to the South Korean company, which flew on December 27, 2017, from Toulouse to its base at Seoul-Incheon airport. The MSN176, registered HL7579, is configured like the other A350s in the Asiana's fleet to accommodate 28 passengers in Business class, 36 in Premium and 247 in Economy.
Asiana Airlines will deploy the aircraft between Seoul-Incheon and London Heathrow Airport in addition to the one currently operated three times a week. The A350 will serve the British capital every day, leaving Incheon at 14:30 (arriving at 17:30) and returning at 20:10 (arriving the next day at 16:05). Asiana Airlines lands in London every day against the competition of Korean Air and British Airways .
The delivery to Asiana Airlines of the 140th A350-900 by Airbus should be followed on December 28 by the delivery of the first A350-1000 to Qatar Airways, the launch company.
