Maiden flight for Evelop's Airbus A350-900

Toulouse - On March 4th, the first and the only Airbus A350-900 of the Spanish low-cost Evelop Airlines performed its first test flight at the Airbus's Toulouse plant.

Evelop's A350-900 will soon be configured to accommodate 432 passengers in a single-class, around 100 to 150 more than the most other tri-class A350-900s.

So far the capacity record for an Airbus A350-900 is being held by French Bee with 411 seats. To reach that number, the 16" wide seats are installed in the cabin on a 3-4-3 configuration.

Evelop flies to popular holiday destinations in the Caribbean mainly from Madrid and Lisbon. The airline currently operates two Airbus A330-200 and two Airbus A330-300.
