Lufthansa to connect Frankfurt to one more destination in Canada

Frankfurt, Germany - The German flag carrier Lufthansa will launch a new transatlantic route between Frankfurt and Canada.

From May 16, 2020, the Star Alliance member operator will begin flights between Frankfurt and Canadian capital Ottawa.

Lufthansa will deploy an Airbus A340-300 on this new route, which will be configured to accommodate up to 279 passengers in a tri-class layout, including a Premium Economy cabin.

Lufthansa's Airbus A340 will carry out five weekly flights between the two cities.

The airline already flies to three Canadian cities – Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver from Frankfurt International.

Another Star Alliance member Air Canada already operates flights from Ottawa International to Frankfurt.
