Cologne - Lufthansa will soon launch a new long-haul Business class. The product will debut on the Boeing 777X that will be delivered to the German company from 2020.

Lufthansa says that personalization and digitalization will be at the heart of the latest generation seats that will equip its long-haul aircraft.

Last March, The Lufthansa Group announced at ITB Berlin the creation of a new Business Class on its Boeing 777X, with a first flight expected in 2020. On November 23, the German group delivered a preview of the new product. We are still far from an official presentation since only two visuals were shared on social networks with a short comment. Nevertheless, this makes it possible to realize that the new Business class will offer several advances in comparison with the current product.

While promising "more privacy" and "better sleep" Lufthansa said every seat will have access to the aisle, shoulder support, larger screens, and more space. The new Business Class cabins will be offered in 2020 with the arrival of the first 777-9, confirmed the company.

During ITB Berlin, Lufthansa already said that personalization and digitalization will be at the heart of the latest generation seats that will equip its long-haul aircraft. Passengers will be able to control their positions and choose their entertainment on board, directly from their smartphone or tablet.

"This seat will be more than just a seat. It will meet the specific needs of clients, whether they prefer to work or sleep, whether they travel with their family or alone, whether on a business or private trip. Let us surprise you," said the company.
