Warsaw - A Bombardier Dash 8 from Lot Polish landed at Chopin Airport in Warsaw without nose gear. The airport was then closed for several hours.

On January 10, shortly after leaving Krakow with 59 passengers and four crew members on board, the pilots of flight LO3924 discovered that the nose gear of their Bombardier Dash 8 was a little out of place. They decided to fly to Warsaw anyway.

Upon the arrival over Warsaw, the pilots informed officials at the Chopin Airport about the problem. The tower alerted the rescue teams. And as the cockpit crew had suspected, the nose landing gear could not be extended to land.

After the emergency landing, no injuries reported. But Warsaw Airport was closed for almost four hours.
