Toulouse - After the volume orders last week of 120 Airbus A220 from US carriers Moxy and JetBlue, Airbus finalized another firm order with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) for 80 Airbus A320, sources claim.

However, Airbus refused to comment on the subject and has not confirmed the order agreement for now. In 2009, the European aircraft manufacturer had signed a memorandum of understanding with ICBC to help Chinese airlines finance the orders for the planes of Airbus.

According to the sources who spoke to Reuters news agency, the order was closed on December 31st and it will be included in the balance sheet of 2018.

The final balance sheet for the year 2018 will be revealed on January 11 by the manufacturer with an official press release.
