iFly to become an "all Airbus" operator by the end of 2019

Moscow - iFly's fleet reached ten aircraft. At the beginning of the month, Russian carrier added another A330-200 to its fleet with a capacity of 325 seats. The airliner immediately went into operation and took the first passengers to Antalya, Turkey on August 11.

According to Maxim Matveev, commercial director of iFly Airlines, the aircraft will fly to the destinations in iFly's, Asia, the Mediterranean, and Europe network.

The second-hand A330-200 is16 years old, and the fourth aircraft of this type, bought by iFly this year. Thus, there are now seven Airbus A330, two A319 and one Boeing 757 in the iFly's inventory.

The new long-haul airliner will allow us to significantly expand iFly's capabilities to develop the route network, as well as improve the efficiency of flight schedule management. By the end of the year, we also expect the arrival of two Airbus A319 and another Airbus A330. Further enlargement of the fleet by the Airbus planes is part of iFly's development strategy in 2018/2019. The transition process to an all Airbus fleet will be completed next year,
Matveyev said.

Based in Moscow Vnukovo International Airport, I-Fly is a Russian charter airline flying on behalf of Russian tour operator TEZ Tour.
