How much does an Airbus cost in 2018?


Toulouse - On January 15, Airbus published the catalog prices of its commercial aircraft for the year 2018. The prices are roughly up 2% over the previous year, ranging from $77.4 million for an A318 to $445.6 million for an A380.

John Leahy, chief operating officer - customers at Airbus, justified the 2% increase in list prices with Airbus' continued investment in its aircraft programs to maximize customer satisfaction through the
performance, the economy of operation and passenger experience.

The new rates, published on the occasion of Airbus' annual results regarding orders and deliveries, are applicable from 1 January 2018. These are average prices. They may vary according to the numbers of the aircraft ordered, engine choice and level of customization chosen by the customers.
