Of this total, more than fifty devices will be MAX 10. The Gulf-based low-cost carrier will also receive MAX 8 and MAX 9, so the company will have a family of aircraft with great commonality and low operating costs, according to the Boeing statement. The deal is valued by the US manufacturer at $ 27 billion. flydubai has purchase rights for an additional 50, 737 MAX. Flydubai expects to receive the devices from 2019.
This agreement surpasses the previous record order of 75, 737 MAX and 11, 737-800 concluded by flydubai at the Dubai Air Show in 2013.
