Toulouse - On April 2nd, the first Airbus A330-900 of the wet-lease specialist Hi Fly appeared out of the Final Assembly Line in Toulouse.
The European manufacturer released the photos of the first Airbus A330-900 of the Portuguese charter operator Hi Fly.
The aircraft has been seen on the images without its engines and with no livery except the vertical stabilizer. Hi-Fly will take the delivery of the aircraft this year in June.
Hi Fly's new widebody jetliner is configured to accommodate 365 passengers on a tri-class configuration, but, on request of the customer, it can be modified quickly with a single-class layout of 415 seats.
All seats will have an individual screen for in-flight entertainment. Negotiations for an additional nine copies of the same type are underway.
The Portuguese carrier has currently two A330-900 in its order book that are leased from American Lease Corporation.
