First Airbus A321neo for Pegasus Airlines

Istanbul, Turkey - On Sept 11, Pegasus Airlines received its first Airbus A321neo. The aircraft with registration TC-RBA is configured with a 239-seat high-density cabin layout.

The A321neo of Pegasus features Airbus Cabin Flex (ACF) door configuration and powered by CFM International's Leap-1A engines.

"We are delighted and proud to have received our first A321neo, the largest member of the Airbus A320 family, of which we aim to form half of our fleet by 2024," said Pegasus chief executive Mehmet Nane.

Pegasus has 42 more A321neo on order with the European aircraft manufacturer alongside 26 A320neo. 31 A320neo is already in service with the Sabiha Gokcen-based budget flag carrier.

Besides 44 A320neo (12 A320-200, 31 A320neo, one A321neo) family jets, the Turkish carrier also operates 39 Boeing 737-800.
