Fire damages the B777-200 of Singapore Airlines

Actually, the Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-200 should soon have passengers flying to Hong Kong. But on the way from the stand to the gate in Terminal 3 of the Singapore Changi Airport, an accident happened on early Wednesday morning (28th November). During the rollout, the towing vehicle suddenly caught fire and a thick smoke rose.
The fire was extinguished quickly. Nothing happened to anyone involved. However, the Boeing 777 with the registration number 9V-SQK was affected by the fire. Especially the nose and the landing gears were damaged.
