Sao Paulo - Embraer is touring Europe this month with its new E190-E2. The aircraft will visit fifteen countries in Europe, mainly where active Embraer operators are located.
The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer has a new next-gen regional jet portfolio made of E2 family aircraft, the E175-E2, E190-E2, and E195-E2.
The Norwegian Wideroe is the launch company of the E190-E2 and is currently operates three aircraft of the type. In Europe, Helvetic Airways from Swiss and an undisclosed Spanish company have also placed orders for the new generation Embraers.
With the tour through Europe, Embraer wants to convince the existing Embraer operators users to order the E2 version. The starting point of the tour will be Warsaw, where the Polish LOT is located. Polish flag carrier already operates the Embraer 170, 175 and 190. Other European companies that have E-jets include KLM Cityhopper, Air France HOP, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Finnair and Alitalia.
The Embraer did not precisely reveal which airports the E190-E2 will visit during the tour program to protect the privacy of potential customers.
