Danish startup Great Dane Airlines introduces its first aircraft

Copenhagen, Denmark - The Danish startup Great Dane Airlines has presented its first aircraft, an Embraer E195.

The aircraft has been leased from the British aircraft leasing company Propius. It was configured to accommodate 118 passengers on a tri-class layout (Economy, Premium Economy and Full Flex).

Great Dane's Embraer E195 registered EI-GGC was built in 2008 and was previously operated by Flybe.

The airline will begin its operations with its only aircraft between its base in Aalborg and Nice-Côte d'Azur Airport. The line will be operated every Wednesday from June 26 to September 4.

Nice airport is already served from Copenhagen by other Nordic airlines SAS Scandinavian and Norwegian.

Great Dane Airlines will also offer flights to Manchester and Dublin.
