Calgary - WestJet unveiled its 2019 summer program, adding more than 40 new connections to popular summer destinations from Toronto, Halifax, St. John's, Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver.
The Canadian airline operator has also added Portland-Oregon, and Austin-Texas to its network and unveiled a new route between Edmonton and St. John's.
As part of its 2019 summer program, WestJet will provide a new daily direct connection between Calgary International Airport and Portland International Airport from April 29. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport will be served by two weekly flights from May 2nd as well.
WestJet has also announced three new weekly flights between Edmonton International Airport and St. John's from July 2nd.
This summer, during the peak period, the airline will operate 750 flights per day to 92 destinations, including 42 in Canada, 23 in the United States, 27 in Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America, and five in Europe.
The summer program will also include previously announced international flights to Atlanta, Georgia, and Barcelona, Spain, as well as direct flights from Calgary to London, Paris, and Dublin with the new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
