Toulouse - Just days after an order for 50 Airbus A320neo, Leasing Company CALC has announced a new contract for 15 additional aircraft.
On January 5, Hong Kong-based China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Ltd. (CALC) announced that it had ordered five more A320neos under the same terms and conditions as the agreement signed with Airbus on December 28, 2017, for 50 A320neo.
According to CALC, this additional order represents a value of approximately $ 1.63 billion. The aircraft are delivered progressively between 2022 and 2023.
CALC currently owns 107 aircraft. After this new order, it has 193 airliners in its backlog, including 143 Airbus and 50 Boeing.
The company plans to expand its portfolio to consolidate its position in the market, said Mike Poon, CALC's CEO.
