London, UK - A Boeing 747-400 from British Airways set a subsonic record on Saturday night (Feb. 9) on the transatlantic route between New York JFK and London Heathrow thanks to the Ciara storm.
Flight BA 112 flew the route in the record time of 4 hours and 56 minutes, according to the flight tracking portal FlightRadar24.
According to another flight tracking portal Flightaware, the flight took 5 hours and 27 minutes.
The highest speed reached by the British Airways' 747 became 714 knots.
