Bamboo Airways transported EU citizens and medical supply to Europe

Hanoi, Vietnam - Bamboo Airways carried out a special flight from Hanoi to Prague today to bring European residents back home. The flight was the Vietnamese carrier's first flight to Europe.

The aircraft, which took off from Noi Bai International Airport at 8:20 a.m. local, also transported medical relief goods sent by the Vietnamese government to the Czech Republic.

For this special flight, Bamboo Airways used a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

To minimize the risk of infection, the airline is to comply with strict regulations and recommendations set out by both domestic and foreign authorities. All crew members and technical staff have been carefully selected in order to ensure the health and safety of passengers. All passengers were simultaneously disinfected prior to boarding.

A Bamboo Airways representative said the flight is part of joint efforts in the global fight against the epidemic.
