Azores' A321neo to make its first commercial flight on January 12
Lisbon - The first commercial flight of Azores Airlines' the first A321neo will be carried out between the airports of Ponta Delgada, on the island of São Miguel (Azores) and Boston / Logan, on the east coast of the United States of America.
The inaugural flight is scheduled for January 12, 2018. There will be four weekly flights, which were previously made with an Airbus A310. As of 25 March 2018, with the arrival of a second A321neo, Azores Airlines will schedule six flights per week on the same route.
Also starting from March 25, coinciding with the start of the IATA 2018 summer season, the A321neo will begin flying on the Ponta Delgada-Lisbon route (10 flights per week), and Ponta Delgada-Toronto (Canada) route with six weekly flights.
Azores Airlines will also put the A321neo on the Terceira-Boston route from March 29, 2018, with a flight per week.
