Tokyo, Japan - ANA cargo has received the first of two Boeing 777F on order with the American aircraft manufacturer.
The aircraft registered JA771F made a ferry flight from Victorville, California to Tokyo Haneda on May 23. The new freighter of the All Nippon Airways' cargo branch will enter into service from July 2nd between Tokyo Narita and Osaka Kansai, Osaka Kansai and Shanghai Pudong, and Shanghai Pudong and Tokyo Narita.
ANA Cargo plans to use its both Boeing 777s for heavy cargo such as aircraft engines and automobiles, and sensitive products requiring special consideration such as lithium batteries and pharmaceuticals.
ANA's freighter fleet currently consists of twelve Boeing 767-300F. The planes mainly serve between cargo hubs in Asia, including Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Singapore.
