An unidentified lessor signs for 80 A320neo
Farnborough - Airbus announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding with an anonymous lessor for 80 A320neo family aircraft.
The MoU was signed on July 16, the first day of Farnborough Air Show. Engine choice will be made later, Airbus said.
Having the widest single-aisle cabin ever in service today, the A320neo Family aircraft integrates the most advanced technologies including new generation engines and winglets, which together deliver more than 15 percent fuel savings and less CO2 emission as well as 50 percent noise reduction.
A320neo family aircraft are the Airbus' best selling models. To date, they have received more than 6,100 orders from over 100 customers. European manufacturer holds 60 percent of the single-aisle market with the A320neo family.
