An unidentified buyer orders up to twelve CRJ900


Montreal - On December 29, Bombardier announced that a buyer willing to remain anonymous placed a firm order for six CRJ900s with an option to purchase six more of the same type.

At the current list price, the value of the order is approximately 290 million US dollars. If this customer chooses to realize its purchase option for six more aircraft, the value of the contract would reach 580 million US dollars.

Over the last five years, more than 25 new airline operators have joined the ranks of CRJ Series aircraft operators. This is a testament to the exceptional value this aircraft can offer thanks to its unmatched performance and profitability,
said Fred Cromer in a statement, the president of Bombardier Commercial Aircraft.

Including this latest agreement, to date, Bombardier has registered 1,918 firm orders for its CRJ Series regional aircraft.

On December 29, The Canadian manufacturer also announced that EgyptAir confirmed its order of 12 CS300 with purchase rights for another 12 aircraft of the same type.
