Kuwait - On November 13, 2017, the Kuwaiti leasing company ALAFCO confirmed an additional order from Boeing for twenty 737 MAX 8.

Boeing records more than 4,000 orders for the 737 MAX family, powered exclusively by CFM International's LEAP-1B.

Announced at the Dubai Air Show, the contract is evaluated by the American aircraft manufacturer in a statement to $ 2.2 billion at list price. The order was the subject of a memorandum of understanding at the Paris Air Show 2017.

ALAFCO now has forty 737 MAX in its order book. "Our customers rely on energy efficiency, reliability and low operating costs to succeed and the 737 MAXs will meet their needs while supporting the future growth of ALAFCO," said Adel A. Albanwan, the Executive Deputy Director of ALAFCO.

"We have had success with the 737 family in the past and we are confident that the 737 MAX will continue to help us grow our business," he continued.
