**Toulouse - Airbus has started the final assembly of the first A350-900 intended for Air France. **
Airbus released photos of the aircraft on its Twitter account. As seen on the photos, the vertical stabilizer was already painted with the blue-white-red colors of the French carrier.
The European manufacturer will deliver the aircraft to the French flag carrier in September this year.
Air France-KLM placed an order for 25, A350-900 in 2013. The Dutch carrier KLM will receive only seven units from this order package while the rest goes to Air France.
Air France's first two Airbus A350-900 will replace the two four-engine Airbus A340-300 in the fleet.
