Air Tahiti Nui receives its third Boeing 787-9

Everett, Washington - The French carrier Air Tahiti Nui has received its third Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

The aircraft registered F-OVAA is configured to accommodate 294 passengers in total - 30 passengers in Business Class, 32 in Premium Economy and 232 in Economy Class.

It will be presented at the 53rd International Aeronautics and Space Show before joining the Boeing 787-9 in Papeete, which will be held from June 17 to 23 at the Le Bourget Airport near Paris.

Air Tahiti Nui expects to receive its fourth and the last Dreamliner in August. The Boeing 787-9s of the French carrier are intended to replace the older generation Airbus A340-300s in the fleet.

Thus, all flights between the mainland in Europe and the French archipelago in the Pacific Ocean will be carried out by Boeing 787-9s.
