Air Macau to lease two Airbus A321neo

Macau - Air Macau will lease two Airbus A321neo from ALC (American Lease Corp.), which will join the airline's all-Airbus fleet by 2020.

On December 5, Air Lease Corp. announced that Chinese carrier Air Macau had placed a leasing order for two A321neo equipped with Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines. Both devices will be delivered from the existing ALC order book in November 2019 and the first quarter of 2020.

Launched in 1995 and based at Macao Airport, the company plans to renew its fleet with next-generation aircraft over time.

Last month, Air Macau had announced another lease agreement with BOC Aviation for three A320neo, deliverable from the first half of 2019.

The airline currently operates three A319, three A320, and ten A321, all configured in two classes. It flies to 26 destinations in China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, and South Korea.
