Macau - The Chinese airline operator Air Macau has received its first Airbus A320neo. The aircraft was officially presented during a ceremony at Macau International Airport.
The new A320neo of the Chinese carrier is configured to accommodate 158 passengers - eight in Business Class and 150 in Economy Class seats. The aircraft will be deployed on regional routes from Macau. The regional route network includes both domestic destinations and cities in neighboring countries.
All-Airbus fleet of the Air Macau now consists of 21 aircraft. In addition to the one Airbus A320 neo, the airline has four A319, six A320, and ten A321, all ceo (current engine option) variants.
Air Macau will take the delivery of another eight A320neo family jets, including A321neos on a lease basis to modernize and strengthen its existing fleet.
