Paris, France - The last two ATR 72-600s of the French national airline carried out their last flights between Nantes and Paris, marking the end of turboprop operations for Air France.
Air France had announced that it would phase out its turboprops from 2018. The last two ATR 72-600s registered as F-HOPX and F-HOPZ made their last commercial flights between Paris-Orly and Nantes-Atlantique airports on January 31st.
They were replaced by an Embraer ERJ145 and a Bombardier CRJ700. The ATR 72-600s were operated by the airline's regional subsidiary Air France HOP!.
