Air Botswana to sell its only ATR 42-500 aircraft

Gaborone, Botswana - Air Botswana is selling its only ATR 42-500. The 23-year old turboprop aircraft with registration A2-ABN (MSN 507) made its last scheduled flight on June 21.

The aircraft has been stored at the Gaborone International Airport since then and waiting for its new owner.

Air Botswana has operated around 39,000 hours of flight with the aircraft.

Air Botswana also has two larger ATR72-600 in its fleet. The company acquired them directly from the Franco-Italian aircraft manufacturer in 2018.
