PARIS, FRANCE — Binter Canarias ups commitment to E195-E2 fleet with order for six more jets.
Binter Canarias, the Spanish airline based in the Canary Islands, has bolstered its commitment to the Embraer E195-E2 jet by placing a firm order for an additional six of these state-of-the-art aircraft, as announced during the Paris Air Show on June 20.
The delivery of these Pratt & Whitney PW1900G-powered machines is expected to kick off in the latter half of 2024, according to Brazilian aerospace conglomerate Embraer.
The order is a mark of continuity in Binter's engagement with the E195-E2s, as the airline has previously received five of these planes under an existing order for 10 units. The first delivery occurred in November 2019, and the process is slated to continue until mid-2024.
Binter's configuration of the E195-E2s, featuring 132 seats, reinforces the airline's dedication to passenger comfort and efficiency.
Aside from the new Embraer jets, Binter Canarias also operates a fleet of 29 ATR turboprops, underscoring its diverse aircraft portfolio.
