PARIS, FRANCE —Air Lease augments fleet with two more 787s amidst rising demand for Dreamliner.
During the Paris Air Show, the American aircraft leasing company Air Lease inked a deal for two additional Boeing 787 Dreamliners, reinforcing its established relationship with the aircraft model. The company first added the 787-9 to its portfolio in 2010, and currently manages both 787-9 and -10 variants.
Boeing has highlighted the growing market traction of the 787, which has secured over 250 orders and commitments in the preceding six months. Included in these numbers are 50 confirmed orders announced at the Paris Air Show, following commitments from Air Algerie and Air India that have now been finalized.
