SINGAPORE — Singapore-based BOC Aviation has announced plans to acquire seven Airbus A320neo-family aircraft, with deliveries set to begin this year. The lessor disclosed the agreement to the Hong Kong stock exchange.
BOC Aviation currently has 105 A320neos and 86 A321neos on direct order from Airbus, having already received 57 and 20 of each model, respectively. As of the end of March, the company's overall fleet consists of 635 aircraft, including owned, managed, or ordered assets.
The lessor has yet to disclose its engine selection for the additional A320neos, which can be equipped with either CFM International Leap-1A or Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines.
