On March 31, ITA Airways proudly showcased its first Airbus A330-900, which emerged from the Toulouse hangar, highlighting the airline's commitment to a modern and efficient fleet.
Adorned with the carrier's signature blue livery, the Rolls-Royce Trent 7000-powered A330neo is slated to join ITA Airways' fleet this summer.
The Alitalia successor has consistently demonstrated its dedication to enhancing its fleet, having introduced three Airbus models over the past year: the A350-900, A220-300, and A320neo. In addition, the airline eagerly anticipates the arrival of its first A220-100 later this year.
Presently, discussions are ongoing between the Italian government and Lufthansa Group concerning a potential stake in ITA. Lufthansa Group's CEO, Carsten Spohr, remains optimistic about the possibility of an agreement being reached before the exclusivity period ends on April 24.
