The A321neo was delivered to Ural Airlines at Airbus' Hamburg plant and became the first aircraft to join the Ekaterinburg-based carrier's fleet in 2022.
The new jetliner with registration VP-BFJ, which was equipped with LEAP-1A32 engines from CFM International, features an all-economy cabin for 240 passengers.
Ural Airlines currently operates 53 aircraft (14 Airbus A321s, 24 Airbus A320s, 5 Airbus A319s, 3 Airbus A320neos, and 7 Airbus A321neos). The operator expects to add three more Airbus A321neos by the end of the year.
