The aircraft with registration N760MQ features a brand new liver named the “American Eagle Heritage Livery”.
“We’re just as excited about the heritage livery as anyone else. We like that people take an interest in Envoy and its history and that they’re enthusiastic about aviation,” said Dee Temples, Senior Vice President of Air Operations at Envoy Air.
Before transitioning to Envoy, the aircraft was operated by BA CityFlyer, a wholly-owned subsidiary of British Airways.
Earlier this year, Envoy Air announced that it would add Embraer E170s to its fleet as an addition to its existing Embraer E175s and E145s. The first E170 joined the carrier's fleet in early August. Envoy's E170s will be configured to accommodate 65 passengers compared to its 76-seat E175s. Envoy plans to add more E170s over the coming years as part of its plan for potential growth.
