OSLO, NORWAY — The Norwegian low-cost startup Flyr made its first commercial flight from Oslo Airport to Tromsø on Wednesday at 11.30.
Initially, Flyr will serve a number of Norwegian cities, as well as a selection of well-known and beloved destinations in Europe, including Malaga, Alicante and Nice . The company will expand the number of aircraft and destinations in line with demand.
The airline will continue its operations with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with registration LN-FGA. the long-term plan is to establish a fleet of 28-30 aircraft.
